Utila

Utila is an island that belongs to the country of Honduras, in Central America. It has an only village in the whole island, it has a population of only 3000 people. I think it’s special because it has a lot of nature and a beautiful landscape, also, it has awesome beaches with a really clear and crystaline water and that’s perfect for go scuba diving.

The best time of the year to visit Utila is in summer beacuse there’s good weather and it’s perfect to go swiming at the beach and relax viewing a great landscpe. You can arrive to Utila by plane or if you live near Honduras you can travel by car to La Ceiba, a village in honduras, and the take a ferry to the main island of Utila. There isn’t much to see apart landscape if you don’t know how to dive with scuba, but if you know how, there are lots of reefs with a beautiful marine fauna, a lot of types of fishes, crustaceans, and octopusses and squids. There are night diving tours also, so you can view other types of fishes.

You can visit amazing beaches, and you can stay in a vast list of hotels all along the island, they’re a bit small, but they’re also cossy and the owners are really friendly.

If you go there in summer you will need to take light and fresh clothes, a swimming suit and water clothes.
